Therefore, in order to use longer and increase the quality of flowers, the rose bushes need to rejuvenation and pruning. This research was conducted to compare two pruning time (fall= December and winter= March) in 2005- 2006 on four Rosa hybrida L. cultivars in one of the greenhouses with soilless culture in Mahalat provenance. The grafted 5 year bushes were pruned in December and March, 2005 so that, on each plant, three stems were left each with 5 nodes (buds). The plants pruned in December and March flowered in February, 2005 and May, 2006 respectively, when the data recording was carried out. The fresh weight, length, leaf number, leaflet number, diameter and internode length of flower stems; diameter, length, fresh and dry weights of flowers and also leaf chlorophyll content and quality index were measured. Results indicated that, all the cultivars were superior for most of the parameters studied when pruned in winter (March) compared to fall (December). Therefore, in cut roses after 5 years it is better that rejuvenation pruning be done in winter (March) although, since rose plants are highly heterozygous, further researches on other cultivar may be suggested. پس از گذشت 4 تا 5 سال از کشت بوته های رز در گلخانه، به تدریج کیفیت و میزان تولید گل کاهش مییابد. بنابراین به منظور بهرهگیری زمانی بیشتر از بوتهها و نیز افزایش کیفیت شاخه گل، نیاز به باز جوانسازی و هرس دارند. این پژوهش با مقایسه دو زمان هرس (پاییز= اوایل آذر و زمستان= اوایل اسفند) در سال 1385-1384 بر چهار رقم رز شاخه بریده (African Dawn'‘، ‘Ilios’، ‘Maroussia’ و ‘Soprano’) در یکی از گلخانههای با کشت بدون خاک شهرستان محلات انجام شد. در آذر و اسفند ماه سال 1384 بوته‌های 5 ساله پیوندی به گونه‌ای هرس شدند که روی هر بوته سه شاخه و روی هر شاخه 5 گره باقی ماند. با انجام هرس در این دو زمان، بوته‌ها به ترتیب در بهمن سال 1384 و اردیبهشت سال 1385 به گل رفتند و داده برداری‌ها انجام شد. ویژگی‌های مورد بررسی در این پژوهش تعداد، وزن تر، ارتفاع، تعداد برگ، تعداد برگچه، قطر و طول میانگره ساقه گل‌دهنده، طول، قطر، تعداد گلبرگ، وزن تر و خشک غنچه گل و همچنین میزان کلروفیل برگ و شاخص کیفیت گل بود. نتایج نشان داد که در بیشتر ویژگی‌های اندازه‌گیری شده، هرس در زمستان در مقایسه با هرس در پاییز اثر بهتری دارد. بنابراین در بوته‌های شاخه بریده گل رز پس از 5 سال استفاده از آنها، بهتر است هرس بازجوان‌سازی در زمستان (اوایل اسفندماه) انجام شود، اگرچه لازم است با توجه به گوناگونی بین رقم‌ها پژوهش‌های بیشتری در مورد ارقام مختلف صورت گیرد. https://plant.ijbio.ir/article_963_1ce927f875864094e3906a4a0b5ece68.pdf
