Essential oils, terpenoids, derivatives of phenolic acids and flavonoids are the main secondary metabolites constituents of Salvia species. Pharmaceutical properties of the Salvia plants are mainly due to antioxidant activities of these metabolites. In this project, for the first time some phenolic compounds (rosmarinic acid, salvianolic acids A and B) of the leaves and roots from four Iranian wild species of salvia were isolated and measured by HPLC method. Based on our results, leaves and roots of S. verticillata were the richest sources of rosmarinic acid (41.53±0.88 and 5.99±0.19 mg/g DW, respectively). Salvianolic acid B varied from 26.89±4.95 mg/g DW in the leaves of S. officinalis to 75.71±2.74 mg/g DW in the leaves of S.nemorosa. Also, the highest content (10.68±3.12 mg/g DW) of this phenolic compound was determined in the roots of S. nemorosa. The leaves of S. officinalis and the roots of S. nemorosa with values of 4.55±0.77 and 6.68±1.85 mg/g DW had the highest contents of salvianolic acid A. The results showed that the leaves were rich in phenolic acids and among them, salvianolic acid B was the most abundant constituent and rosmarinic acid and salvianolic acid A were in the next place. In conclusion, our results suggested that some Iranian wild species such as S. verticillata and S. nemorosa with high capacity of production and storage of phenolic acids can be introduced as potent natural sources for medicinal purposes.}, keywords = {Phenolic acids,Rosmarinic acid,Salvia L,Salvianolic acid A,Salvianolic acid B}, title_fa = {بررسی مقایسه ای محتوای رزمارینیک اسید و سالویانولیک اسیدهای A و B در 4 گونه مریم گلی (.Salvia L) خودروی ایران}, abstract_fa = {مریم¬گلی (.Salvia L)، یکی از بزرگ¬ترین جنس¬های تیره نعناعیان (Lamiaceae) با 58 گونه در ایران است. روغن¬های اسانسی، ترپنوئیدها، مشتقات اسیدهای فنلی و فلاوونوئیدها متابولیت¬های ثانوی اصلی گونه¬های مریم¬گلی را تشکیل می¬دهند و خواص دارویی این گیاهان به طور عمده مربوط به فعالیت¬های پاد¬اکسایشی این ترکیبات می¬باشد. در این پژوهش، برخی اسیدهای فنلی (رزمارینیک اسید، سالویانولیک اسیدهای A و B)، در برگ و ریشه 4 گونه مریم¬گلی خودروی ایران برای اولین بار به روش HPLC جداسازی و سنجش شدند. بر طبق نتایج حاصل، S. verticillata با بیشترین مقدار رزمارینیک اسید در برگ و ریشه ( به ترتیب 88/0±53/41 و 19/0±99/5 میلی¬گرم بر گرم وزن خشک)، به عنوان غنی¬ترین منبع این اسید فنلی شناسایی شد. مقدار سالویانولیک اسید B از 95/4±89/26 میلی¬گرم بر گرم وزن خشک در برگ S. officinalis ، تا 74/2±71/75 میلی¬گرم برگرم وزن خشک در برگ S. nemorosa، متغیر بود. همچنین بیش¬ترین محتوای سالویانولیک اسیدB (12/3±68/10 میلی¬گرم برگرم وزن خشک) در ریشه S. nemorosa برآورد شد. برگ S. officinalis و ریشه S. nemorosa به ترتیب با 77/0±55/4 و 85/1±68/6 میلی¬گرم برگرم وزن خشک، بیش¬ترین محتوای سالویانولیک اسید A را به خود اختصاص دادند. نتایج نشان داد که برگ¬ها نسبت به ریشه¬ها از اسید¬های فنلی غنی¬تر بودند و در بین آن¬ها سالویانولیک اسیدB بیشترین مقدار را تشکیل می¬دهد؛ رزمارینیک اسید و سالویانولیک اسیدA در مراتب بعدی قرار داشتند. نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد که S. verticillata و S. nemorosa با توان بالای تولید و ذخیره¬سازی اسیدهای فنلی می¬توانند به عنوان گونه¬های شاخص برای مصارف دارویی معرفی شوند.}, keywords_fa = {Phenolic acids,Rosmarinic acid,Salvia L,Salvianolic acid A,Salvianolic acid B}, url = {https://plant.ijbio.ir/article_612.html}, eprint = {https://plant.ijbio.ir/article_612_1b90e787ffae29d900a221c001305f6f.pdf} }
