Lead is a heavy metal with high toxicity that absorbed by plants mainly through the root system and in minor amounts through the leaves. After entering the cells, lead inhibits activities of many enzymes, and affects membrane structure and permeability. The objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of different concentrations of Salicylic Acid (SA) and Ascorbic Acid (AsA) on the content of photosynthetic pigments and antioxidant enzyme activities of Ocimum basilicum L. under Pb stress. Factorial experiment in a completely randomized design with three replications was conducted. Treatments were combination of 3 levels application of Pb (0, 350 & 700 mg.l-1) and 2 concentrations of SA (0, 0.1 mM) and AsA (0, 100 & 200 ppm). The results revealed that increasing lead concentration reduced chlorophyll and carotenoid content and increased activity of antioxidant enzymes (SOD, CAT). On the other hand, application SA and AsA alone and/or together, significantly increased chlorophyll content and reduced activity of antioxidant enzymes. Generally, the results of this study indicate that SA and AsA applications improved plant physiological parameters of Ocimum basilicum L.}, keywords = {Antioxidant enzymes,ascorbic acid,Lead,Ocimum basilicum L,salicylic acid}, title_fa = {اثر سالیسیلیک اسید و آسکوربیک اسید بر محتوای رنگیزه های فتوسنتزی و فعالیت برخی آنزیم های آنتی اکسیدان در گیاه ریحان (Ocimum basilicum L.) تحت تنش سرب}, abstract_fa = {آلودگی فلزات سنگین یک مشکل عمده برای مناطق وسیعی از جهان است. سرب یکی از فلزات سنگین با سمیت بالاست که توسط گیاهان عمدتا از طریق ریشه و در مقادیر کم از طریق برگ ها جذب می شود و پس از ورود به سلول مانع فعالیت بسیاری از آنزیم ها و تأثیر بر ساختار و نفوذپذیری غشاء می شود. هدف از این پژوهش، بررسی اثر غلظت های مختلف سالیسیلیک اسید (SA) و آسکوربیک اسید (AsA) بر محتوای رنگیزه های فتوسنتزی و آنزیم های آنتی اکسیدان گیاه ریحان تحت تنش سرب (Pb) است. بدین منظور آزمایشی به صورت فاکتوریل در قالب طرح کاملا تصادفی با سه تکرار انجام شد. تیمارها ترکیبی از کاربرد سه غلظت سرب (ppm 700 و 350 ، 0) و دو غلظت SA ( mM1/0و 0) و سه غلظت AsA ( ppm 200 و 100 ، 0) بود. نتایج نشان داد که افزایش غلظت سرب باعث کاهش محتوای کلروفیل و کارتنوئیدها و افزایش فعالیت آنزیم های آنتی اکسیدان (CAT و SOD) شد. از سوی دیگر، استفاده از SA و AsA به تنهایی و توأما، به میزان قابل توجهی محتوای کلروفیل را افزایش داد و باعث کاهش فعالیت آنزیم های آنتی اکسیدان شد. به طور کلی، نتایج به دست آمده از این تحقیق نشان داد که کاربرد SA و AsA پارامترهای فیزیولوژیکی گیاه ریحان را بهبود می بخشید.}, keywords_fa = {Antioxidant enzymes,ascorbic acid,Lead,Ocimum basilicum L,salicylic acid}, url = {https://plant.ijbio.ir/article_599.html}, eprint = {https://plant.ijbio.ir/article_599_12185ef9d44b9839f5366f3e5b438a2e.pdf} }
