In this study, three Satureja species including S.sahendics, S.hortensis, S. atropatana were cytogenetically investigated. According to the results, the average chromosome lengths of the Satureja species ranged from 1.39 µm in S.sahendica to 4.82 µm in S.atropatana. The largest chromosome was observed in S.atropatana (5.940 µm) and the smallest in S.hortensis (1.022 µm). Between the studied species there were significant differences in long arm length (TL), arm ratio (AR), centromeric index (CI), total form percentage (TF%), difference of range relative length (DRL%), intra-chromosomal symmetry index (A1) and inter-chromosomal asymmetry index (A2). The chromosome types were determined “metacentric” and “submetacentric”. The Karyotype formula in S.sahendica, S.hortensis and S.hortensis species were respectively 14m, 20m+4sm and 4m+2sm. The S.sahendica species had the smallest values of Romero-Zarco index (A1 and A2), which is probably linked to its high capability with hard environmental conditions. In compared to the other species, S.sahendica showed the smallest DRL% and the largest TF%. It can be concluded that S.sahendica has more symmetrical karyotype and is more primitive species than two others. Because of the obvious genomic differences, it is expected that the direct crossing between S. atropatana and shandica with cultivated savory would be impossible and use of these species in savory breeding may need the ploidy manipulation and bridge species.}, keywords = {Cytogenetic,Karyotype,Satureja}, title_fa = {بررسی تنوع کروموزومی برخی از گونه‌های جنس مرزه (Satureja)}, abstract_fa = {جنس مرزه (Satureja) به دلیل داشتن متابولیتهای ثانویه مهم، از گیاهان عمده در صنایع غذایی، دارویی و بهداشتی به حساب می آید. در این مطالعه، سه گونه 2n=2x=28 S.sahendica،2n=2x=12 S.atropatana و2n=2x=48 S.hortensis مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. نتایج نشان داد که میانگین طول کروموزوم از 39/1 میکرومتر در S.sahendica تا 82/4 میکرومتر در S.atropatana متغیر است. بزرگترین کروموزوم (940/5 میکرومتر) در S.atropatana و کوچکترین کروموزوم (022/1 میکرومتر) در S.hortensis مشاهده شد. از نظر پارامترهای کاریوتیپی نسبت بازوها (AR)، شاخص سانترمری (CI)، درصد شکل کلی (TF%)، درصد اختلاف طول نسبی (DRL%)، شاخص عدم تقارن درون کروموزومی (A1) و شاخص عدم تقارن بین کروموزومی (A2) تفاوت معنی داری بین سه گونه مشاهده شد. انواع کروموزومها شامل متاسانتریک و ساب متاسانتریک بودند بطوریکه فرمول کاریوتیپی در گونه های S.sahendica، S.hortensis و S.atropatana به ترتیب به صورت 14m، 20m+4sm و 4m+2sm بود. گونه S.sahendica کمترین میزان شاخصهای Romero-Zarco یعنی A1 و A2 را در بین سه گونه داشت که نشاندهنده تطابق پذیری بیشتر این گونه با شرایط سخت محیطی است. همچنین این گونه نسبت به دو گونه دیگر دارای بیشترین مقدار TF% و کمترین مقدار DRL% بود که این نیز نشاندهنده متقارن بودن کاریوتیپ و ابتدایی تر بودن این گونه نسبت به دو گونه دیگر میباشد. به دلیل تفاوتهای بارز ژنومیک انتظار میرود که تلاقی مستقیم بین گونه های سهندیکا و آتروپاتانا با گونه زراعی امکانپذیر نباشد و استفاده از این گونه ها در اصلاح مرزه نیازمند توسل به روشهایی مانند استفاده از گونه های پل و دستورزی پلوئیدی و نجات جنین باشد.}, keywords_fa = {Cytogenetic,Karyotype,Satureja}, url = {https://plant.ijbio.ir/article_1718.html}, eprint = {https://plant.ijbio.ir/article_1718_3fd8d9a2a0ca456d1be7d103a515e737.pdf} }
