Our results showed significant difference in pigment content and phenolic metabolism between winter and spring leaves of jasmine during spring season. In this study, winter leaves showed the higher Chlb, carotanoids, total phenol, flavonoids as well as phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL) activity, and relative water content (RWC) as compared to spring leaves, indicating winter leaves are sufficient in their capacity for non-photochemical energy dissipation via these mechanisms. However, water stress did not significantly affect these parameters. Drought significantly increased the amount of malondoialdehyde (MDA) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) following significant enhancement of peroxidase (POD) activity. However, in winter and spring leaves treated with water stress, decrease in the maximal quantum efficiency of PSII (Fv/Fm) was not statistically significant. In con‌trary, spring leaves exhibited a significant decrease in the performance index (PIabs) parameter under drought conditions. Notably, the kinetics of the OJIP chlorophyll fluorescence curve exhibited a quicker difference between winter and spring leaves of jasmine under well watered conditions. Thus, photosynthetic apparatus of winter leaves maintained a higher PIabs during spring season, and showed more tolerance to water stress by dissipating excess light energy by carotenoids; and by screening of photoradiation by phenolic compounds.}, keywords = {chlorophyll fluorescence,Jasminum fruticans,performance index,Phenylalanine ammonia lyase,Water stress}, title_fa = {مقایسه برخی سازوکارهای حفاظت نوری برگ های بهاره و زمستانه گیاه یاس در شرایط خشکی}, abstract_fa = {در این پژوهش، تأثیر اعمال تنش آبی 25 روزه بر خصوصیات فیزیولوژیکی برگهای بهاره و زمستانه گیاه یاس (Jasminum fruticans L.) مورد مطالعه قرار گرفت. در فصل بهار، سنجش پارامترهای مربوط به رنگیزههای فتوسنتزی و متابولیسم فنلی، تفاوتهای آشکاری را بین برگهای زمستانه و بهاره مشخص کرد. مقادیر کلروفیل b، کاروتنوئید، فنل کل، فلاونوئید و محتوی نسبی آب (RWC) و همچنین فعالیت آنزیم فنیل آلانین آمونیالیاز در برگهای زمستانه نسبت به برگهای بهاره افزایش معنی دار نشان دادند و توانایی برگهای زمستانه جهت فروکش غیرفتوشیمیایی انرژی نوری در فتوسیستمها را بالا بردند. اگر چه خشکی تغییر معنی داری در پارامترهای فوق ایجاد نکرد. خشکی باعث افزایش متابولیتهای اکسیدان شامل مالون دی آلدئید (MDA) و پراکسید هیدروژن (H2O2) و همچنین فعالیت آنزیم پراکسیداز (POD) در برگهای بهاره شد. پارامتر بیشینه عملکرد کوانتومی فتوسیستم II (Fv/Fm) از شرایط خشکی متأثر نشد ولی پارامتر شاخص کارآیی فتوسیستم (PIabs) در برگهای بهاره در پاسخ به خشکی کاهش یافت. همچنین تغییرات منحنی فلورسانس کلروفیل (OJIP) در برگهای زمستانه متفاوت از برگ های بهاره بود. بنابراین به نظر میرسد که دستگاه فتوسنتزی برگهای زمستانه نسبت به برگهای بهاره در پاسخ به خشکی مناسب عمل کرد و دلیل عدم کاهش PIabs در برگهای زمستانه در پاسخ به خشکی با نقش کاروتنوئیدها و فنلها (به عنوان جاذب های نوری) در حفاظت فتوسیستمها مرتبط بود.}, keywords_fa = {فلورسانس کلروفیل,Jasminum fruticans,شاخص کارآیی فتوسیستم,فنیل آلانین آمونیالیاز,تنش آبی}, url = {https://plant.ijbio.ir/article_1527.html}, eprint = {https://plant.ijbio.ir/article_1527_8231d3bb0d39ac50286a6709075c9f4b.pdf} }
